ClackaCraft Drift Boats
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, ClackaCraft is one of the oldest names in fiberglass driftboat manufacturing, and it wouldn't surprise me if some of those first boats are still on the water. From the outset, Clacks have been marked by rock-solid manufacturing, hull durability and excellent handling--qualities that, to my mind, are best embodied in the LP series, 15- and 16-foot low-profile models specifically configured for fly-fishing.
The hull is made of stout 24-ounce woven roven, and the bottom and chines are rugged enough to warrant a 100-year guarantee against punctures and leaks.
