Orvis Zero Gravity Fly Rod The Zero Gravity series is Orvis' latest entry into the high-end, high-tech flyrod market. Borrowing from the lightweight, composite technology used in the military's F-22 jet and unmanned drone aircraft, Orvis says the Zero Gravity series is the strongest, most advanced rod they've ever made. What sets the Zero Gravity rods apart is the use of a new carbon scrim system that is lighter and stronger than the fiberglass scrim used in other Orvis rods.
