Catch and Release in Maine

My friend Ken gets it. Maine needs to understand that catch-and-release isn’t just a YUPPY notion from Taxachusetts. With all the logging roads permitting easy access to ponds we used to hike into for half a morning wild brook trout can’t stand even the reduced bag limits. Maine has to wake up to the fact that, with the easy access to wild-trout ponds it now has, you can catch brook trout or eat brook trout, but if you do the latter, you won’t do either for long. http://morningsentinel.mainetoday.com/sports/stories/2492493.shtml
