The appended article appears in the current edition of the BlueRibbon Coalition's magazine. It speaks of a high level meeting involving leaders of the recreation industry and their counterparts/partners within the Department of Interior. According to the BlueRibbon Coalition and the American Recreation Coalition, the purpose of this meeting was "to share their ideas for companion efforts that could significantly expand the impact and benefits of the President's Centennial Initiative for the National Parks." As I have suggested numerous times before, when the recreation industry's effort to rewrite the National Park policies, using Paul Hoffman as their front man, failed to accomplish their objectives — they went back to the drawing board and came up with the President's Centennial Initiative as their new vehicle.
