Gathering of the Tying Tribe

From an IFTS press release:
The 20th anniversary of the International Fly Tying Symposium is scheduled for November 20 and 21. Returning to the Doubletree Hotel Exhibit ballroom in Somerset, N.J., remains the central location where our January Fly Fishing Show has called home.
This year’s theme is “Pass it On” and has been a running plan for years. The symposium is the place to share and teach fly tying. Tiers from around America and many overseas countries, will once again make this an international flavor. Learning techniques and seeing the new uses of materials by some of the best fly tiers in the world is a great experience.
In addition to over 100 tiers, there are seminars to instruct the fishing techniques for your fly patterns, book signings, and special “featured tier” demonstrations. Every type of material, hook, thread, feather, and tool for fly tying will be available to review and purchase from the dozens of exhibitors.
All the new and favorite books, DVDs, CDs, Tapes and educational tools will be displayed and for sale at special show prices. The total experience makes this a must attend event for fly tiers.
Symposium hours are Saturday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am-4:30 pm. Admission is $15 on Saturday, $12 on Sunday, and $20 for a weekend pass. Children under 16 are free. There is plenty of free parking, too.
