This Salmon is the Largest Salmon caught on the Margaree River since 1927.
The IGFA said that it would have been a new World Record for 10# tippet if I had a certified scale. It was 50.25 inches long had a girth of 28 inches and the estimated weight was 49.25 pounds. It was released alive and hopefully will return again in two or three years
